I've made muffins for all of my guests, it's a nice and simple and clean up, you get a little treat, but not much to think about, I'd recommend it. You can use for cookies, anything! You can also use them in other things, like in muffins. It's easy to clean up, too.

If you have the muffin pan with the crust on it, you don't have to take the crust off and clean it and put the muffin in, then cook with them and eat what's in it. You use them as a sort of shortcake, which is the baked kind you get at a bakery.
If you don't have the pan on there you can use a cookie sheet and bake it in the pan and eat it like a shortcake.
You can use them and bake them like pancakes or something, that's what I do.
I'm from Scotland. I've made a lot of them in my time and I make them for my clients and their friends.
What I have done is that I've put a little bit of flour and water into a cup-tin, put it on a muffin tray with a ring mould or ring, leave it for a longer time, then I take it out of the tray, and when I take it out, I put the batter and mix it by hand until it's nice and smooth, then I put the muffin ring in the muffin tray, I put it on the stove under the hot grill and cook for about 10 minutes, I wait about 10 minutes without putting it on the heat to get a little bit of steam, then I put the ring on the muffin and bake it, then I have it from time to time. It's simple and clean.

Flour: I use a medium-grain type like wheat flour, but you can use any type you want, it's all up to you.
Water: I always use the hot water for cooking, but you can use the cold water, just use a ladle and measure it in every time.
Salt: I usually add a little bit of salt and oil, but it's up to you. You can add whatever you want.
Baking powder: If you can use baking powder, use it. Otherwise you just can't cook well, it's just for taste.
Butter: if you use butter, use extra virgin or natural. It will not be as nice as the regular kind. Use a small piece of butter and you can make it taste like anything you want.
I always add some egg, it can only cook for a minute, then it's too much for a muffin! It gives it a good texture.
Preparation: I always add a cup of water to the flour mixture as soon as it begins and put in everything else.
Toasted Coconut: I've used the fresh ones from the store and I've also added some toasted coconut during cooking, I never add it to my muffin recipe because I don't have the baking tray.
I use coconut milk, cream or soy milk, I always cook the milk with the eggs first, then the flour.
Buttercream: I've added the buttercream to the batter.
Toasted Rice Flour: I use the normal kind for biscuits.
Lard: I've never used lard in a muffin recipe, but you can use it.
Moringa: I've used it and it works really well.
Bacon Bits: I've never used bacon bits in muffins, but they are good in snacks or a salad, so you can use them.
